- The account balance displays the following:
· the opening balance (carry forward balance from the previous year)
· the total of all transactions for each posting period, broken down into debit and credit postings (transaction figures)
From these figures the system also calculates for the account balance display function the following:
· the balance per posting period
· the accumulated balance of the account
