Installing miniSAP 6.10

Postby jeff.stevens on Thu May 11, 2006 2:28 pm

Hi,

I'm trying to install miniSAP 6.10 on a Windows 2000 PC. I have checked my system meets the minimum system requirements. When I run the install I am unable to select the local drive as the default installation location for SAP DB. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Regards,

Jeff.

I think the default is the local drive.

Hi Jo,

The problem is that the box is empty, and when I click to see if there are any drop down entries, the list is empty.

If I hit the 'Next' button, the installation errors on the SAP DB install at 28%.

You might want to download and install MiniWAS 6.20. I installed it yesterday with no problem.

You can go to http://sapsuperusers.com, register as a user, and download the CDs from the Software forum in the SAP MiniWAS 6.20 Installation CDs thread.

hi,

install 6.20, it's damn easy with no problems. I have been working with it for a long time and it works fine.
