mySAP.com business scenarios are assembled from SAP and non-SAP components, including Internet services. The SAP components are separately maintainable and upgradeable business software units, which have been developed using the SAP Business Framework. These independent software units have been and will continue to be marketed as separate products, such as, SAP R/3 and SAP New Dimension applications.

By leveraging these solutions and extending them to the Internet, SAP now provides a total e-business solution under the name mySAP.com. The primary components of mySAP.com include the following:

Business-to-Business Procurement and Selling (B2B)

  • Enables open, full-cycle, inter-enterprise procurement from the desktops of corporate employees

  •  Facilitates all processes associated with the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) of both goods and services

  •  Handles all processes from the creation of a requisition (using optional product catalogs) to the payment of the invoice

Business-to-Consumer Selling (B2C)

  • B2C which includes support for one-to-one marketing, state-of-the-art multimedia capabilities, and supports creation of online stores.

  •  B2B which allows business partners to sell to one another and takes account of existing contractual and pricing agreements

  •  B2R (Business to reseller) which builds on the business-to-business scenario, providing enhanced functionality that helps you to strengthen relationships with your resellers

 

Online store

  • The SAP® Online Store is a business-to-consumer and business-to-business Internet Application Component (IAC). The SAP Online Store enables businesses to offer products online or make purchases across the supply chain.
