Here are the steps required to install the Add-On for SAP EM 5.1 on the ECC6.0 system.

 

1. Prerequisites for installing SCEMSRV 510

• Availability of SCEMSRV 510.
  The add-on SCEMSRV 510 is available for installation on SAP ECC 6.0 with or without Enhancement Package 2 or 3.
  In addition, SCEMSRV 510 is delivered together with other add-on components for installation on SAP NW 7.0. The delivery media are:

• Uninstalling SCEMSRV.
  Before you install SCEMSRV, keep in mind that it is not possible to uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions that concern the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP System and that are caused by installing an add-on, are described in the release strategy note.

• Required ABAP server releases.

• • Prerequisite is SAP Netweaver 7.0 or SAP ECC 6.0 (with or without Enhancement Package 2 or 3).

• • Caution: The installation of SCEMSRV on SRM or CRM ABAP application servers has not been released.

• Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
  Make sure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update on your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.

• Import the latest R3trans and tp.
  Ensure that you have imported the latest kernel version into your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the latest kernel.

• Obtain the following notes before you begin the installation:

• Required components and Support Packages
  Check that your system meets the following prerequisites: If these Component Support Package have not yet been installed, they can be included in the installation of SCEMSRV 510. For more information, see Note 83458.

• Caution: Using SCEMSRV 510 on ECC 6.0 requires at least SCEMSRV 510 Support Package level 5.

2. Preparing to install SCEMSRV 510

• Make the SCEMSRV 510 add-on available.
  The add-on installation SCEMSRV 510 is available for installation on SAP ECC 6.0 (with or without Enhancement Package 2 or 3) together with other add-on components.
  Request the relevant CD from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace.

• Log on as user:

• Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your SAP system (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). The directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT after you execute the report RSPFPAR.

• Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.

• Unpack the EM510.SAR archive on the CD using the following command:

SAPCAR -xvf /<CD_DIR>/SCEMSRV/DATA/EM510.SAR		for UNIX
SAPCAR '-xvf /QOPT/<VOLID>/SCEMSRV/DATA/EM510.SAR'	for AS/400
SAPCAR -xvf <CD_DRIVE>:\SCEMSRV\DATA\EM510.SAR		for Windows
File CSR0120031469_0026021.PAT should now be in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory.
For SCEMSRV 510 for the installation on SAP ECC 6.0, the file name is: CSR0120031469_0029456.PAT.

3. Installing SCEMSRV 510

• User to be used.
  Log on to your SAP system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL authorization. Do NOT use the SAP* or DDIC users.

• Displaying the add-on installation package
  Call transaction SAINT and choose "Start" and "Load".
  After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT by choosing either F3 or "Back".

• Starting the installation
  Call transaction SAINT and choose "Start". Select the SCEMSRV 510 add-on and choose 'Continue'. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages.
  To start the installation process, choose "Continue". For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose "Info" on the application toolbar.
  The system prompts you to enter a password. This password is provided below.

4. After you have installed SCEMSRV 510

• Importing languages after the installation

• • If you intend to install additional languages, we recommend that you install them before you import further Support Packages. Refer to the 'Language support' section.

• Importing Support Packages after you install the add-on.

• • Downloading Support Packages
    If you are using SCEMSRV on top of SAP ECC 6.0 you can find the Add-on

• External(!) ITS ONLY: Publishing Internet application components (IACs):

• • During the add-on installation, all add-on-specific Internet application components (IACs) are automatically published if one or more external ITSs are connected to the SAP system at the time of the installation. If you want to install one or several external ITSs later on, remember that the add-on-specific IACs are published on this ITS. Note 325149 describes how the IACs are published (using the W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES program). This program requires a transport request. Specify the transport request that contains all add-on-specific IACs.

• Delivery Customizing

• • Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may have to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.
