The SAP Java Connector is a toolkit that allows a Java application to communicate with any SAP system. It combines a flexible API with good performance. The package supports both, Java to SAP System as well as SAP System to Java calls.

SAP Note 549268 describes which operating platforms are supported for SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo), which releases of SAP JCo are supported until when and what JDKs are required for SAP JCo.

"SAP has just released version 2.0.2 of its justly famous Java Connector, JCo. As always, the product can be downloaded from http://service.sap.com/connectors -> SAP Java Connector. Please take a look at the release notes included in the download and check OSS note 529396 for additional information about new features and fixed bugs.
