The Internet Business Framework provides several integration technologies that enable multi-level communication between different SAP systems or between SAP and non-SAP software. According to your plans and projects you can choose from various technologies using Idocs, XML, BAPIs, qRFC and different protocols to transmit, receive, change or generate data.

  • Application Link Enabling (ALE) is a set of business processes and tools that allow applications on different computer systems to be linked. The main objective is to distribute data from a main system to a subsystem following certain rules. This is possible between different SAP systems as well as between SAP and non-SAP systems. The used technology is Idoc messaging via tRFC.

  • The SAP Business Connector is a B2B enabling technology based on webMethods B2B Integration Server. It allows you to integrate with R/3 via open and non proprietary technology. SAP BC uses the Internet as communication platform and XML/HTML as data format. Thus it seamlessly integrates different IT architectures with SAP systems. The SAP Business Connector is a main part of the SAP Internet Initiative.

  • The SAP Business Objects are an essential part of the Business Framework and the prerequisites for interoperability. SAP Business Objects cover a broad range of SAP’s business data and processes and can be accessed using open, stable and standardized methods - BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces). They allow external or remote SAP systems to access business objects by calling the respective methods. The SAP Business Objects and their BAPIs thus provide an object-oriented view of SAP business functionality.

  • If you need to take over data from your legacy system to an SAP system it is advisable to use our DX-Workbench. The DX-Workbench helps you map your data to R/3 and import them to the new system using either BAPI technology, batch input or direct input.

  • SAP Business Workflow  provides the infrastructure and tools to allow business processes that encompass more than one department or software component to be managed, automated and analyzed as related entities across the entire company. Employees are integrated in the automated processes, eliminating the need to perform redundant, manual functions.
