SCM 5.0 comprises the following components:

Netweaver 2004s supports SCM 5.0 in the following areas:

    • based on SAP NetWeaver 2004s usage type AS-ABAP

    • based on SAP NetWeaver 2004s usage type AS-Java. SCM Server for EM (Web Communication Layer) and,

    • optionally with an extra package, for F&R (Webdynpro for the Storage User Interface)

    • SCM Optimizer 5.0

    • SCM Geocoding

  • ICH

    • SAP Internet Graphics Service 7.00

    • SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) >= 7.0

Integration with Back-End systems

With backend releases <= mySAP ERP 2004, the Plug-In 2004.1 >= SP10 is used for the following:

  • APO CIF integration

  • EWM master data integration

  • EM integration (optionally)

  • ICH master data integration (optionally)

mySAP ERP 2005 and subsequent releases will contain all the interfaces that so far have been contained in the SAP R3 Plug-In.

With all supported backend releases, XI >= 7.0 is used for the following:

  • ICH Integration

  • EWM integration (optionally, if QIE is used)

  • EM integration (optionally)

With backend release mySAP ERP 2005, a qRFC based interface (with lower releases, an IDoc based interface on project base) is available for:

  • EWM transactional data integration
