I have been actively involved in the IT industry since 1991, after having received a BSc. in Computer Science (1990), and large integrated system implementations since 1993. I have comprehensive SAP project experience since 1996, with several full cycle system implementations in each of the areas of my expertise. I have performed all of the following functions during my career: project manager, team leader, technical analyst, designer, configurer, programmer and trainer. Developed new visibility processes to show the flow of an order through the system. Integrated several standard event handlers in a custom visibility process. Solution comprised of raising events in sales order, delivery, invoice, purchase req, purchase order and inbound POD IDoc. Developed training material and trained other ABAP resources on SAP EM technology and development techniques.
Configured and Developed standard Production Order Malfunction scenario as well as the purchase order scenario in prototype environment. Implemented reporting through the WCL.

Helped manage the transition from a company acquired in to the parent company. My main role was to facilitate the EDI and workflow integration. EDI existed in both companies prior to the acquisition and we had to move all EDI partners to a new translator (Mercator to TLE) as well as move the parent company on to SAP. The company has extensive EDI relationships on the customer side as well as the supplier side. Workflow was a new innovation for the project. I spearheaded the development of the required workflows as well as in excess of 15,000 lines of EDI related code. I developed custom reports using control techniques. I develop several custom EDI scenarios both inbound and outbound and did the configuration for it. I liaised with the TLE mappers and spearheaded the development of the mapping templates for them. Provided my own personalized tools to process inbound IDoc errors and view IDocs in “English”.

Provided comprehensive documentation to the client on the installation of SQL Server, Gentran software and configuration required for coms with VAN and Wal-Mart WINS using bisync modem (CLEO 3780Plus and 3COM modem). This allowed the client to install Gentran to a working state without the use of Sterling Commerce consulting resources. On a part time basis, I was called in to implement EDI between client and Wal-Mart. On the first day on site, after the installation was complete, I had a working inbound ORDERS IDoc mapped from an existing Wal-Mart 850 and on the second day I had a working outbound INVOIC leading to a successful 810 translation. Currently busy with Go-Live and further partner development. Provided my own copyrighted ABAP application to create Gentran DDF files for IDocs.
Recent work: 1st week 2005: Implemented 850, 860, 812, 820, 856, 810 for Sears starting Monday and going live on the Friday. Completed all templates, Gentran mapping, SAP configuration and development and transported to production once testing had proven successful.
Most Recent work: 2007: Implemented 856 and 824 v5010 for Wal-Mart. Also ensured the purchase of a new company and the integration of that company on to SAP went smooth with respect to EDI.

Made use of advanced ABAP techniques including ABAP control framework programming to implement ALV grid control reports, tree reports, text edit controls and split screen functionality.
